These are the General Terms and Conditions of House of Madu, with its registered office in Amerongen and registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 89305353.

By accessing or using our services, we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use House of Madu’s services if you do not agree to all the terms and conditions stated on this page.

1. Services

1.1 House of Madu provides trainings, courses, and tailored support services on well-being, personal leadership, and change facilitation to organisations and professionals.

1.2 Our services are designed to enhance self-awareness, promote resilience, and facilitate personal and professional growth.

2. Registration and Payment

2.1 Registration for our services can be done through our website or by contacting us directly.

2.2 Payment for our services is required upon registration for our courses (payment in installments is possible), or after delivery of the services in case of bespoke support for organisations (a different payment scheme may be agreed upon in case of longer-term assignments).

2.3 We accept payment through various methods, including iDeal, credit/debit cards, and bank transfers.

3. Cancellation and Refunds

3.1 Cancellation of registration for our courses must be made in writing at least 14 days prior to the scheduled start date of the course.

3.2 Refunds for cancelled registrations will be issued according to the following schedule:

  • Cancellation 14 days or more prior to the start date: 100% refund
  • Cancellation between 14 and 7 days prior to the start date: 50% refund
  • Cancellation less than 7 days prior to the start date: no refund

3.3 Refunds for bespoke services for organisations will not be issued considering payment is required after delivery of the services.

4. Intellectual Property

4.1 All intellectual property rights related to our services, including but not limited to course materials, training content, and coaching methodologies, are owned by House of Madu.

4.2 Participants are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the materials provided during the services for personal and professional development purposes only.

5. Confidentiality

5.1 House of Madu respects the confidentiality of participant information and will not disclose any confidential or proprietary information shared during the services to third parties without the participant’s consent.

5.2 Participants are expected to maintain the confidentiality of any information shared by other participants during the services.

6. Limitation of Liability

6.1 House of Madu shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the services provided.

6.2 In no event shall House of Madu’s total liability exceed the total amount paid by the participant for the services.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

7.1 These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of The Netherlands.

7.2 Any disputes arising out of or related to these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of The Netherlands.

8. Changes to Terms and Conditions

8.1 House of Madu reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time, effective upon posting on our website.

8.2 Clients and participants are responsible for reviewing these terms and conditions periodically to ensure compliance with the most current version.
